Day 1 - Browns Canyon Full Day
See why Browns Canyon is our most popular Arkansas River rafting
trip! Our skilled guides will take you through class III and
IV rapids with names such as Pinball, Zoom Flume, Big Drop,
Staircase, Toilet Bowl and many others. The large granite
boulders and steady gradient make the whitewater rafting
in Browns Canyon fast and fun but still good for families.
The remote terrain you'll see is a unique mix of high
desert geology and plant life with a breath taking
views of 14,000 foot peaks towering in the background. You
will enjoy a riverside lunch midway through your trip.
After your trip, enjoy your drive down through Bighorn Sheep Canyon to Canon
City, for a stay at the Comfort Inn. The Canon City
Comfort Inn is conveniently located within walking distance of
restaurants and local activities. All the large guest
rooms are tastefully decorated and equipped with private
bathrooms with showers. Choose a room with either 2
queen size beds or a king. The modern facility has an indoor
pool and hot-tub and includes a continental breakfast.
Day 2 - Full Day Royal Gorge Rafting Trip
Warm up in the morning
by rafting Bighorn Sheep Canyon, and enjoy Class III/III+
rapids such as Three Rocks, Spikebuck and Sharkstooth.
After your riverside lunch, you will raft through the
Royal Gorge, under the highest suspension bridge in
the world, and through the 1000+ foot high walls of the Gorge,
enjoying continuous class III to V rapids such as Sunshine
Falls, Sledgehammer and Boateater.
Minimum 4 people required. Minimum age 13 (minimum age can be raised at our discretion at high water levels).
